Interesting!
Looks like the stars are doing an intricate square dance!
No favourite today, I like them both.

I love seeing the backs of quilts, and whole cloth quilts. This design is a compromise. Make a few blocks with a rather plain background, use lots more of the background to make the quilt bigger, and quilt in the blocks you couldn’t be bothered making!
I love the second design!

Make some star blocks with a dark background fabric, add some plain dark fabric blocks, then quilt with light thread, fill in the larger blank areas of quilting with stippling in a thread to match the background fabric.
I like both these designs.

Love it. I would piece this by hand, but a lot of people would paper piece by machine.
The quilting design I would use is to simply use the pieced block outline, even for the pieces not used in many of the blocks.
Love this one too.

One block design, but many blocks depending on where the fabrics are placed.
Even the quilting is the same block but without the fabric.
I love these designs.

Looks like a very interesting puzzle.
The second design uses two used in the first, but with totally different results.

In the first design I would do more straight line quilting in the background areas, similar to the outside edges, but in a thread matching the background.
The second design needs no fillers! Love it!

Love it … but wondering if I would quilt it with contrast thread, or match the background colour, or perhaps a mix of the two.
Love the second one too!

Love the second design.
Also love the third design, especially the combination of the pieced and applique blocks, and the quilting motifs.
